RN Admission Assessment
The RN Admission Assessment is administered only to incoming or current CSU students who are applying for admission to the School of Nursing. This computer-based test, also known as HESI, is timed at 3 1/2 hours, and covers math, reading, and grammar. Students may take the exam twice per calendar year with at least 6 weeks between attempts. Physical calculators are not allowed but one is built into the test.
The nursing program recommends the Admission Assessment Study Guide, available through most bookstores.
Payment: $70. Appointments are required. Payment is due when you schedule your appointment.
In order to take the test, you must:
1. Complete the testing history form and indicate if you have taken tany HESI test in the past either at CSU or any other location. Click here for the form.
2. Schedule an appointment to test by following these instructions:
